extra-special ordinary
My journey as a visual artist has evolved into documenting moments of visual harmony found within the everyday. Through street photography, I explore the interplay of shape, line, texture, and shadow to uncover and archive fleeting moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. I aspire to capture that decisive moment—that transitory instant when the elements of a scene align in a quiet balance.
I create images organically; unstaged and instinctively captured—often shot from the hip, one frame at a time—guided by immediacy and embracing uncertainty as both the technical risk and personal reward of a fully manual process. Rarely repeatable, each image stands as a quiet testament to the extraordinary scenes embedded in the ordinary, offering a closer look at the frames we so often overlook.
